Aspects of Valuations

- Identity of the assets in terms of commercial details attached to it as well as physical number plates, etc. attached to the equipment / machinery.
- The physical condition of the equipment, whether it has been put in use or not
- Estimated life of the equipment based on its physical condition
- Whether the equipment is reconditioned or not, if reconditioned then what reconditioning work has been carried out
- Whether the equipment can work as a single unit or is part of some production line is also considered. If the items are spare parts then those are also identified during the valuation process
- If available, our chartered engineers / CEng / CE / C. Eng. also go through the breakdown, preventive and / or predictive maintenance records of the machines / equipment

Availability Of Data And Information
Since we carry out visual inspection without physically opening the machine / testing the machine vibrations, etc. the availability of data is important in determining the cost of any machinery and equipment appraisal. We typically require data such as asset listings, purchase orders, invoices, maintenance logs, and financial statements for completing our appraisals.

The above valuations are performed to determine the value of assets in transactions which are supposed to be carried out at arms length between willing buyer and willing sellers.
