Gangaur, celebrated in Chaitra (March\u2013April), is one of Rajasthan\u2019s most important festivals, marking spring, harvest and marital devotion. Women worship Gan (Shiva) and Gauri (Parvati) over 16 days, with the celebrations culminating in a ceremonial immersion.<\/span><\/p>

At Mandawa, guests can witness the Isar Gangaur Puja, followed by a vibrant procession of musicians, performers, palanquins, chariots, camels and horses. Holi in Mandawa is a true riot of colours and the entire village comes together to celebrate, irrespective of religion. Mostly played with dry colours (gulal), the celebrations here combine fun and frolic with traditional performances, such as the customary dance (Gindar) performed by men dressed as women.
