Returns & Refund Policy

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the Shree Arts website and is drafted in accordance with German consumer protection laws and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

As a consumer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you or a third party (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

2. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract:

  • We shall reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs.

  • Reimbursement will be made within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

  • We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof of return.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Return of Goods

After informing us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days.

Return Conditions

  • Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

  • You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Non-Returnable / Excluded Items

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following items:

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Goods made to the customer’s specifications

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery

  • Digital content once download or access has begun

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damaged or incorrect item

We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with German statutory warranty rights.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund:

  • First check your bank account or payment provider

  • Contact your card issuer or bank

7. Statutory Warranty (Gewährleistung)

Your statutory warranty rights under German law remain unaffected by this Returns Policy. This includes your right to claim remedies for defective goods in accordance with §§ 434 ff. of the German Civil Code (BGB).
